Delivery information – Littlewood Fencing, Battle, East Sussex
At Littlewood Fencing, we strive to offer efficient and reliable delivery services across the South East, ensuring that your timber and fencing products arrive on time and in perfect condition. Whether you’re purchasing materials for a domestic or commercial project, we’ve got you covered.
Timescales for delivery
For local deliveries within the South East, we aim to deliver timber products within 7-10 working days. For orders that include concrete items, please allow 10-14 working days. Please note that during busy periods, delivery times may vary. For nationwide deliveries, the estimated delivery time is 10-14 working days (excluding weekends and bank holidays).
Express delivery
If you require an expedited service, we offer an express delivery option with a lead time of 2-4 working days. Express deliveries are scheduled between 7:00 am and 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday. As with all deliveries, we require a contact telephone number, and unfortunately, we cannot specify exact delivery times.
Click & collect
Customers are welcome to collect their orders directly from our site in Battle. Once your order is ready for collection, we’ll notify you via email. Standard items are typically available immediately, but if you have ordered custom or specially made panels, please allow 2-3 days for processing. If using external haulage, please contact us to discuss access requirements.
Delivery process
Deliveries are generally made using a 32-tonne, 8-wheeler crane wagon, which has a reach of up to 20 metres to position your materials. Our drivers will place the products as conveniently as possible within the closest hard standing area (e.g., driveway or kerbside). Please note, due to insurance guidelines, our delivery personnel cannot enter private residences or navigate uneven surfaces.
It’s important that the access for delivery is unobstructed. Please ensure that your location allows sufficient space for our vehicles to manoeuvre safely. Should access be restricted, we will contact you to arrange an alternative delivery method. Any failed or return delivery charges will be recovered at cost.
Local deliveries in the South East
We deliver throughout the South East, and all deliveries will be made to the nearest hard standing area (kerbside or driveway). For some deliveries, we may use smaller vehicles, depending on the size of your order. If you have concerns about access or require assistance with a specific delivery, please let us know when placing your order.
Delivery restrictions
Please note, we currently offer delivery to mainland UK only (England, Scotland, and Wales). If you are located in a remote or restricted area, please contact us for more details about available services and delivery charges.
Important delivery notes
- Always provide an up-to-date daytime contact telephone number and a complete postcode to ensure smooth delivery.
- For large or heavy items, please ensure that someone is available to assist the driver with offloading.
- We recommend not booking contractors or fitters until your order has been delivered and checked.
- We cannot be held responsible for any third-party charges incurred due to non-delivery or incomplete deliveries.
